Bookmark Merge Desk.
Combine your browser exports without losing track of what changed. Review duplicate links, choose what stays, then carry a clean, importable library forward.
Decide. Export. No account · No network requests for your bookmarks
Bring your libraries together.
Export bookmarks as HTML from Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari. Load up to 12 files, or start with the working example.
No library opened yet.
Review link collisions
Different folders may intentionally contain the same link. Nothing is deleted by default.
One reviewed archive.
Three traceable files.
HTML imports into browsers. The CSV names every duplicate decision. JSON reopens this exact workspace. Keep your original exports until you verify the import.
Cleaner files. Safer decisions.
This desk is for Netscape-style bookmarks HTML exports, not browser sync databases, password files or bookmark-manager JSON. Each input is placed under its own source folder so you can tell which browser it came from. Exact URL duplicates and variants differing by common tracking parameters are flagged for review, not silently deleted.
We preserve links, titles and commonly exported bookmark/folder attributes such as timestamps and favicons. Uncommon HTML extensions and unknown named entities are not guaranteed; malformed inputs are rejected. We do not visit links, verify whether websites are alive or remove entries in your browser. Importing the output into an existing profile can itself add duplicates—use a backup or fresh profile to inspect it first.
How do I export my bookmarks?
Chrome / Edge: Bookmark Manager → menu → Export bookmarks. Firefox: Manage Bookmarks → Import and Backup → Export Bookmarks to HTML. Safari: File → Export → Bookmarks (HTML).
What counts as a duplicate?
We compare actual addresses, retaining meaningful query parameters and fragments. Tracking keys such as utm_*, fbclid and gclid are ignored for detection only; your original URLs are never rewritten.
Where does the file go?
Source files remain in this tab's memory. Downloads are generated locally. No bookmarking content is transmitted to Underground Stack servers or stored in browser localStorage. Hosting still handles ordinary page requests.
Can I undo a merge?
Nothing changes in your browser until you import the downloaded HTML yourself. Retain source HTML backups and the project JSON. A JSON project contains your bookmark addresses; treat it as a private file.
